I lead the Making Science team in our quest to become a global company. Making Science is a 360 digital partner to business with the objective of bringing the best of Digital.
I have been linked to new Technologies for the last 25 years. I was an active participant in the launch of Airtel (now Vodafone) being one of the first 50 people in the company. During my Airtel tenure I lead Product Development in Mobile and Internet. Lastly I managed all the Internet business of Airtel. Additional to the internet I was a very active participant in the development of mobile data services, leading the launch of the first mobile data service in Spain.
I am also an expert in go to market and management of technology companies having spent the last 10 years defining and introducing new products for internet and mobile. As a co-founder of m-centric closed different rounds of venture capital investments and lead the international expansion of the company in Europe, Latam and Africa.
In Google Spain I was one of the first persons of the company in Spain, leading its expansion in Telecom, Internet and Media.
In Google Canada I started up the company operations in industries like Financial Services and Travel.
In my last 3 years @Google, I was leading the Google Portugal operation and the Performance Sector of Google Spain.

Jason Downie

Seasoned Global Marketing Technology Executive and Sales Leader experienced at generating global sales from Fortune 1000 clients with a background in strategy, enterprise digital transformation, and entrepreneurship. In-depth experience managing teams, complex client relationships and technology solutions including CRM, Marketing and Advertising and digital media technologies.

At Google, managed a Global team selling in Google tech to Google’s biggest clients based in the Americas, covering over $4Bn in revenue. Worked with C-Level clients on digital transformation strategy and change management. Clients included Proctor and Gamble, GM, Ford, J&J, Estée Lauder, Nike, Pepsi, McDonalds, among others.

At Lotame, as CRO, managed full sales team of 50+, and managed managers. Grew revenue by 16X during my tenure. Sold SaaS and Data to Brands, Agencies and Publishers. Built a Data Exchange from scratch to over 5B Global profiles by directly negotiating and selling over 170 Data Partnerships with global Data Companies, thousands of customers and tens of products. Negotiated channel partnerships and opened revenue generation in companies such as Google, The Trade Desk, OMG, etc.

As a Consultant and Marketing Director for Bain and Company, I worked on clients ranging from 6-24 months including Avis Rent-A-Car, American Standard and M&T Bank, among many others, on wide-ranging consulting engagements.

I also started several entrepreneurial ventures including the purchase of a local bar and restaurant. I also created and organized a professional touring a cappella group based in Boston, MA. We were a 6-man band, with an agent, a lawyer, a full-time sound engineer, a record producer and label, and thousands of fans.

In addition, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Concentration in Multinational Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
