Kave Home is a furniture brand that designs, controls manufacturing and distributes through its direct sales channels (KaveHome.com and physical stores), and through distributors and prescribers.
Kave Home achieved its goal of safely and effectively scaling its business on a global scale. The following objectives/challenges were set: To reduce the client’s latency as much as possible. To control costs per franchise. Isolated and independent environments per franchise. Agility to deploy new franchises anywhere in the world.
Kubernetes clusters were created in areas located as close as possible to the regions in which they wanted to sell, migrations of the DB database engine were ran and deployed on VMs to CloudSQL from the network resources and Memory Store to the requested region, and an access control was carried out for digital assets restricted by IaP and Cloud Armor, among other actions.
As a result, Kave Home has been able to achieve its goal of scaling its business without any setback or downtime so far. The company has expanded its reach by supporting its e-commerce architectures with Google Cloud’s technology and cloud resources, and due to the help from its digital partner – Making Science. Kave Home currently operates in Australia, Korea, Greece, Singapore and Europe.
